Introduction to Food Energetics
There is a lot of conflicting dietary information. What information should you pick?
Well, you have two ways to look at food: to assume that everything is bad ("Carbs are bad", "sugar is the devil", "animal protein is unjust", etc.), or, to assume that everything is good ("Carbs are great for brain function", "sweets are perfect for birthdays", "animal protein is great for hormones and muscle").
The key points are relativity (what does your body need to rebalance?) and that everything has an appropriate time and place. This is what we're going to explore in Food Energetics to help you make the best decisions for your unique body.
I sat down with Mayumi Nishimura, who worked as Madonna's private chef for 10 years. Madonna's diet is based off of food energetics and macrobiotics (if it's good enough for Madonna...it's good enough for you, yeah?).
